"This audio download has been a godsend. As someone who has struggled with sleep issues on and off for years, I can honestly say that it has helped me. Sometimes, even when I don't think it will help, it takes me by surprise and I wake up the next morning, not remembering when I drifted off. Something about the Dr. Amen's soothing, repetitive voice seems to do the trick again and again. One of the few times the recording didn't help me get to sleep was when I ate something that contained caffeine earlier in the day. Usually, however, it works like a charm, especially when combined with eating properly, exercising, cutting back on screen time before bedtime, taking a shower, doing yoga, and practicing self-inquiry (The Work of Byron Katie). "I have been using the Restful Sleep method for several weeks. At first I did not think it would work. I have probably tried 50-60 different methods of falling asleep at night over the past 35 years and this one is by far the best. It is not the normal dull boring voice that actually irritates more than it relaxes; it is the conversational voice of Dr. Amen who gently guides you by some secret method into a restful sleep. I always listen to a sleep tape for the first time while I am wide awake in order to avoid the pitfall of either being told at the end to wake up refreshed or it makes such a loud noise as it closes that it wakes you up. And this sounded so much like a normal conversation that I could not see how it could possibly work. But it does! And very well indeed. I fall asleep each time I play it probably about 1/2 to 2/3 through the tape and I dont wake up until the next morning. It works when I feel tired it works when I feel fully awake and it works when I am sure my monkey brain is far too noisy to respond to the message. I have it on my cellphone and it works very well wherever I might be when it is time to sleep. If you have trouble sleeping this may be the answer for you."

"I really had bad times around 4 a. M. every night, being unable to go back to sleep for several hours. Then I only could go through my day like a ghost, feeling exhausted and becoming agressive, irritated and depressed because of my severe lack of sleep. I tried several other audio products (binaural beats, other hypnosis cd's) but none of them really could help the way this cd did (and still does). Each time I wake up, I just have to listen to this recording with headphones on my head, and hop! I sleep before I can be aware of it. I also use it for little naps during the week-ends, and I can tell you I'm feeling alive again. . . . Thanks so much!"
