Description

The Falling Asleep Book

Twelve-time New York Times bestselling author and child and adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen teams up with artist Gail Yerrill to create a book that helps facilitate sleep. Time for Bed, Sleepyhead pairs whimsical illustrations with storytelling techniques to tire your child's imagination and help them settle down at bedtime and fall asleep.

Read aloud the story of little bear and his friends as they have a big day at the beach, then return home to eat dinner, take their baths, and head to bed, falling gently to sleep alongside your little one.

Time for Bed, Sleepyhead is the perfect bedtime story and will quickly become part of your nightly routine!

BRILLIANT!

"To make this brief where I could gust endlessly… I didn’t think my 3. 5 year old was listening. We do these exercises often but they rarely do anything. This book has the key. He had so many questions and talked the whole book BUT on a very unique night where he was over tired, excited, stimulated, and just CRAZY, he went to sleep shortly after, but the magic was in waking! His first words after a long cuddle and relaxing in bed Vs jumping out, he says, thank you for that lovely book, can we keep it, it took away the excited and I really liked it. What?! He never says that about a book. He loves to read but bedtime…. . for us, is hard. I’m speechless. What a brilliant idea writing an almost hypnotic book. Can we do so many more?! I depend sleep books maybe 😂 please!!! Pooping books?!"

Highly recommend this book!

"My daughters and I both love this book; the story and the beautiful artwork. My youngest daughter (7) loves this book so much that when she was recently given a stuffed seal she named it Shakespeare after the seal in the book. It really does help my girls to relax and fall asleep. And if I\m not paying attention I\ll fall asleep too while trying to read it."

Great!

"After reading this book\s introductory info my daughter said \I was skeptical this book could really calm a child and make her sleepy. But after reading it to Charlotte I realized I was feeling sleepy! Ha!\ That\s as good of an endorsement as I could need! I loved reading this to our grand-daughter during my recent visit!"

READY OR NOT YOURE GOING TO SLEEP ONCE YOU READ THIS BOOK!

"Oh my goodness now I see why they have the warning not to take it with you when youre driving. I snuggled up in bed with my son to read him the book and I just read a few pages and all of a sudden I was yawning deeply as if I had not slept in a year! My son however was quite enthralled with the characters in the book and it took him longer to dose off. That night he woke up in the middle of the night as he often does and the first thing he did was ask me to read him the book and so I did. He went back to sleep quite quickly thereafter as did I. Its now part of our nightly ritual and I must say I think theres some magic fairy dust in it because we both get really good sleep now. I havent even needed to use the melatonin I used to give him to help him sleep either."
