- 4 large apples (Honeycrisp, Tart Green, your choice)
- 4 Tbsp of butter alternative (pressed avocado oil, ghee, coconut butter)
- 1/2 cup of coconut sugar or other brown sugar alternative
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 F. Wash and core apples leaving the base to hold the filling. Combine butter alternative, coconut sugar, and cinnamon and press into each core. Fill a 2 qt baking dish with 3/4 cup of water. Place apples in upright and bake for 1 hour.
